GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING DEPARTMENT
The guidance and counseling department is made of a six member committee as shown below:

- Mrs. Nyegenye Immaculate
- Mrs. Sichangi Christine
- Mrs. Alela Elizabeth
- Mr. Okumu Ben
- Mr. Opanyi paul
The a bove committee was mandated to identify suitable topics for every level of students, assign them to specified resource persons, develop and implement programmes ,monitor progress and give feedback on progress, success and or challenges faced and make recommendations for consideration in future.
The programmes are three-tier;
- Individualized guidance and counseling-Done daily as need arises
- Junior program- Form 1- 3; every Wednesday 6:45-7:45AM
- Foster Parenting program - Exclusively for form 4 ; every Friday 3:20- 4:00pm.
Facilitators for the above programmes are drawn from the teaching staff and guest speakers.
The key objective of the guidance and counseling department is instilling acceptable moral values in students and shaping their character through structured programmes which have been entrenched into the school routine.The department takes cognisance of the fact that moral uprightness is key to good performance and success in life.The department has achieved tremendous success in inspiring the youth to give value to their lives by embracing desirable social values.
CAREER GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING
This is a sub department in guidance and counseling department. It plays a vital role of creating awareness of the various careers available in the job market and the various requirements. Also advices learners to plan their future careers by pursuing relevant subjects at secondary school and degree programmes at university level. Our main sources of information are books, newspapers, journals, internet services, professional career counselors from higher institutions of learning among others. The sub department is currently headed by Mr. Machengo Josephat.
